From Wednesday until Sunday evening, fans of BMX, skateboard or scooter acrobatics are as if magnetized by the acrobatic prowess of 2,000 professional and amateur competitors from all over the world. In 27 years, the FISE (International Festival of Extreme Sports) in Montpellier (Hérault), now broadcast on Equipe TV, has become the main global meeting place for urban sliding sports. The organizing company, Hurricane, is the world’s number one operator.

Hurricane Group was founded by the André-Benoit brothers, engineers and riders themselves. It grew as the disciplines developed. “We currently employ 107 people in Baillargues and Chengdu in China to address the Asian markets. From design to installation, we deliver turnkey skateparks and organize competitions. Today, our parks are connected. They provide sports data (speed, time) and valuable information on the use of the facilities,” explains Hervé André-Benoit, co-founder of FISE and the Hurricane concept.
