The Ministry of Health has updated the marginal maximum tariffs for dental services (orthopedic and dental) and for radiology services in the provision of dental services. This is provided for by the Decree of the Ministry of Health No. 75 of May 11, 2023, which is officially published today on National legal Internet portalaccording to BelTA.

The document amends the Decree of the Ministry of Health of February 3, 2015 No. 15. The annex to this resolution is set out in a new edition. It contains information on the marginal maximum tariffs for paid medical services in dentistry provided to the population. The Decree enters into force after its official publication.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, paid dental (orthopedic and dental) services are subject to price regulation. The increase in the maximum maximum tariffs for them since 2015 was carried out only in November 2021 by 4%. Services for which marginal maximum tariffs are set are currently unprofitable, including negative profitability for certain items reaching 93%.

“Over the course of 7 years, there has been an increase in the costs of healthcare organizations for all items of expenditure (wages, utility bills, transport, communications, etc.), which can be compensated by increasing marginal tariffs,” the press service noted. “In order to eliminate (reduce) the unprofitability of regulated dental services, the Decree of the Ministry of Health of May 11, 2023 No. 75 was adopted, providing for an increase in the maximum maximum tariffs by 30%.”
