Dramatic instruction: Against the background of the spread of the ‘Omicron’ strain of the corona virus and the great fear, the Minister of Torah, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, is leaving tonight (Monday) with a new instruction.
In a statement published on his opinion, it was stated that “to the question of the directors of institutions these days, Rashkabag’s Minister of Torah Shlita replied regarding the vaccinations to Corona: ‘Certainly order the vaccines to Torah studies and schools, and you need to get vaccinated against them‘”.
The directive actually instructs parents to vaccinate their children against the corona, when so far many have been afraid to vaccinate them, despite Ministry of Health guidelines.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is holding a consultation tonight on continuing to deal with the Omicron strain. The discussion discussed various options for tightening the restrictions as part of the continued spread of the strain, including restricting the gathering, expanding the green mark and also applying it to the trade industries, stopping funding for antigen tests for children, and more.
Further consultations and follow-up discussions will be held tomorrow, with the aim of formulating the continuation of the action plan for the treatment of Omicron.
