Escuintla, Guatemala. The Guatemalan authorities recently captured three Salvadoran gang members, among them a highly dangerous leader, who were hiding in Escuintla, Guatemalan territory, where they fled to evade the Exception Regime.
The ringleader was identified as Raúl Antonio Serrano Hernández, 45 years old, known in gang circles by the alias “Gallo Negro” or “Tigrillo”, who was found by the Guatemalan Police in the company of two other Salvadorans, also gang members.
These three Salvadorans were hiding in the village of Las Guacas, municipality of Masagua, Guatemalan department of Escuintla; Serrano Hernández is considered an OIP (Objective of Police Interest), for being a historical ranflero of the Mara Salvatrucha in El Salvador, who had the position of “program runner, as a member of the Tepecoyos Locos Salvatruchos clique, of the MS13.
The Salvadoran authorities said that he had several arrest warrants pending in El Salvador, among other crimes, for Homicide.
He has a record for Aggravated Homicide, Deprivation of Liberty, Robbery, Theft, Terrorist Organizations, Illegal Limitation of Free Movement and Threats, according to information released by the Minister of Security, Gustavo Villatoro.
It is not the first time that this terrorist has been captured; In 2018, he was arrested in El Salvador for his multiple crimes and spent a short time in jail, but the criminal system at that time released him, according to the history that the authorities have in his possession.
