In a dramatic and desperate message, the young Brazilian Carol Botti asked for information that would allow her to find her father, who disappeared from a week ago in Colombia, where he came to do some business, in Maicao, La Guajira.
Through her Instagram account, the young woman, based in Washington, United States, reported that her father was in the region on business and left for a meeting and never returned,
“She hasn’t answered her phone, we have no news”, Carol told in a chat with EL COLOMBIANO.

He requested support from the Colombian and Brazilian authorities, and to persons who know the whereabouts of Fernando Botti, 50 years old.
The uncertainty of not having news of his father overshadowed the graduation of his master’s degree in international affairs, after four years of undergraduate and two postgraduate years.
“Today was supposed to be one of the best days of my life, but it’s actually one of the worst.””, recounted the woman.
“My dad had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on my studies. He never attended high school and yet he always encouraged my education so that I could make this a better place. So, today, I do this for him,” added the young woman in the published message.
Although Carol said she graduated “heartbroken,” She also expressed that she did it to honor her father’s work, effort and trust in her.

The young woman asked people to share her message so that actions are taken to allow her father to appear.
“We need to find it, the local authorities, the Brazilian embassy and the police must do something about it,” he said in his communication.
So far neither the country’s authorities nor the Brazilian government have contacted her, she explained. The complaint for the disappearance of Fernando Botti has already been filed with the Colombian Prosecutor’s Office.
