“Forget everything you knew about traditional cosmetics,” says Ariela Amarousi, and as someone who has been involved in the field of beauty for 39 years, she knows very well what she is talking about. “When I started at the age of 18, we only had hands and fingers, skin softeners and exfoliating peels. Most women put up with the wrinkles and sagging skin from a young age, and as if it was fate, they said, ‘I got them honestly.’ Prolonged, and not easily we reached the results of clean and smooth skin, but no more.”

“Technology has changed the aesthetic-cosmetic world,” she states, “high-tech is entering strongly, and with it big news.”
What are the significant changes that have taken place in the field over the years from your perspective?
“Just as our mobile phones have improved over the years, so has the technological equipment in the cosmetic world, which today provides a comprehensive answer to every problem. I fell in love with the technological field that opened the door to a whole world of therapeutic possibilities for cosmetics, and my clinic is equipped with equipment that enhances the results of the treatment, and is adapted to every need: from acne treatments , through anti-aging, wrinkles and fine lines, firming and tightening the skin, treatments for darkness, puffiness and hollows under the eyes, pigmentation treatments, hair removal, diverse body treatments, and in fact all skin problems are treated with the most advanced technologies. Another fundamental change is that the cosmetic world is becoming more and more In the direction of personalization. That is, we once defined oily, dry, normal or mixed skin, and according to this definition the treatment was chosen. Today we recognize the complexity of skin types, the treatment is much more personal and focused, and the results accordingly. Also, for example, in the treatment of acne, which is actually a type of infection, today we already know how to locate the polluting factors, cure the inflammation and the bacteria, and treat the recovery so that it is scar-free.”
What innovations did you bring to the field?
“The triple A method that I developed is an anti-aging treatment for firming the skin, blurring wrinkles and eliminating fine lines. The method also lifts the jaw line and brightens skin spots. I start with a personal diagnosis and consultation, and essentially ‘tailor’ the treatment according to the patient’s needs. I build A package of treatments in which I combine advanced technologies according to need, including radio waves, ultrasound and laser. I recently started treating collagen threads made of pure collagen, and the method of ‘meso-needling’ – the introduction of active substances deep into the skin by treating needles in a controlled injury, after which a Peeling. This combination creates optimal skin renewal. This, in fact, is also my motto: I don’t stick to one treatment, but maximize the treatments using the combination method.”
Do the treatments have side effects?
“Side effects such as redness are expected, for example, in microblading. But the redness is a result of increased blood circulation activity to help renew the skin.”
Are there sometimes glitches?
“Mistakes can happen. Sometimes the patient reacts unexpectedly and has skin irritation, excessive redness or pigmentation. This is where the professional ability and good hand of the beautician is tested, who needs to know how to get out of these situations and ensure the best result the client can get.”
Are you enough to take care of yourself, or does the cobbler go barefoot?
“I follow a facial treatment once a month. There are no miracles here. You have to maintain a skin care routine, and I don’t give up. I do the treatment that clients with the same skin condition as mine receive. This also includes equipment, and of course I follow the daily treatment routine at home. No I make no concessions to myself.”

Amarousi (57), or as she is called “Ariela Imperia”, is a beautiful and impressive woman, and of course, very well-groomed, with an enviable skin texture and a lot of knowledge in the field. She grew up in Pardes Katz, which she remembers as a “not easy neighborhood”, met the man who became her husband at the age of 14, and today they are parents of three and grandparents of three grandchildren. Amorosi operates In a huge clinic that includes eight treatment rooms in a fancy building on the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan border, which, despite its size, has the intimate atmosphere of a boutique clinic. Amarousi has developed treatment methods that are unique to her, the bottom line of which, according to her, is “proven results”. Among her clients you will find Ravita Assaf, former member of the Knesset Nava Boker and Nicole Halperin, who, according to Amarousi, comes to her especially from abroad.
Next to Amarousi works the chemist Dr. Liron Mazor, who previously managed the research and development department of the “Love” brand, and specializes in developing formulas. The result is a product line with active ingredients that bears Ariela’s name, and provides an answer to all skin conditions. The management of the clinic is entrusted to Noi, Amarusi’s house. The latter, makes sure to keep up to date with innovations in the field at international conferences and recently returned from cosmoprof (the world’s most important professional conference in the field of beauty). Soon she will participate in a cosmetic conference with international executives from the field in Istanbul.

What is behind your decision to make your own skin care products?
“Five years ago I came to the conclusion that even if the treatments at the institute do an excellent job, the client at home does not have supportive treatments that will maximize the result over time. So I sat down with experts in the field of chemistry, and created a product line that supports the technological treatment. We worked hard to bring a real line with a concentration of active and safe ingredients , whose effectiveness has been proven by research. Today we already have 25 products that meet every need.”
How do you see the world of cosmetics in the next decade?
“Technology will take an even more significant place with major innovations, and personalization will be an important part of the treatment arsenal.”
