The transfer of the Unified System for the Provision of State and Municipal Services (FSIS PGS) to the Gostech platform is postponed from July 1, 2023 to July 1, 2024. This is stated in the draft government decree posted by the Ministry of Digital Development on the website of regulatory legal acts on May 22. We are talking about a system that ensures the operation of the Unified Portal of Public Services (EPGU). The postponement is due to the fact that the functionality of the platform is still raw to transfer the country’s main IT system to the cloud, experts believe.

The change in the date of commissioning of the FSIS PGS is due to the fact that “a number of activities have not been implemented on time, which entails postponing the deadlines,” the document says. FSIS PGS is needed to create and configure the processes for providing public services in electronic form, the representative of the Ministry of Digital Development explained. In fact, this is a separate module of the information system that allows government agencies to collect information about the service requested by the applicant and make a decision on its provision, he added. The representative of “Gostech” declined to comment, redirecting the request to the department.
