With wheat quotations between BGN 380 and 730/ton, there are practically no deals in our country
The decrease in the quotations of the main grain contracts of the world commodities stock markets continues, reports the Sofia Stock Exchange. Sugar is the only one that is slightly more expensive.
In the USA, the FOB price of bread wheat fell by another 7.00 dollars to 252.00 USD/ton, that in France dropped 4.00 euros to 235.00 euros/ton. Ukraine quoted wheat $3.00 down to $257.00/ton, as did Russia, down $5.00 to $260.00/ton.
The movement in corn is even more pronounced – in the USA there was a drop of 17.00 dollars to 252.00 USD/ton, France down by 7.75 euros to 219.25 euros/ton, Russia minus 3.00 dollars and 250.00 USD/ton.
The price of barley did not change in Russia and remained at 244.00 dollars/ton, and in France minus 4.00 euros to 220.00 euros/ton. Rapeseed on Euronext, which experienced a significant price increase and subsequent decline in recent months, has now collapsed by 38.50 euros to a level of 403.50 euros/ton.
The price of unrefined sunflower oil on the Rotterdam Stock Exchange, which has been moving sinusoidally for some time and recently continued to stick to a downward curve, having reached below one thousand dollars, and at the end of April it had jumped headlong upwards, has returned to the bottom for another week down $60.00, and is now trading at $920.00/t.
Refined sugar was the only exception this week, rising for August delivery and adding $1.30 to $706.60/ton on the London exchange.
At the Sofia Stock Exchange, the week passed with little activity and trading remained sluggish as a direct consequence of the ongoing political crisis and lack of government and stability.
IN Subdistrict “Zarno” of SSB AD after the transactions from April for bread wheat at 370.00 BGN/ton and for corn at 380.00 BGN/ton, now the quotations are one-sided. The high “selling” price of bread wheat remained at BGN 730.00/ton, feed wheat purchase announcements are at BGN 380.00/ton. Maize is available at BGN 440.00 – 460.00/ton. All prices are without VAT.
