In St. Petersburg, on Narodnaya Street, a nursery-garden caught fire. About 100 children were evacuated from the premises, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source in emergency services.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in St. Petersburg reports that the area of ​​fire was about 40 meters. 41 firefighters work at the site, nine pieces of equipment are involved.

The laundry is on fire. The children were temporarily transported to another kindergarten a couple of blocks away.

According to preliminary data, no one was hurt.
