Dubai:The qualifiers for this year’s Cricket World Cup in India will begin on June 18 in Harare, Zimbabwe. There are ten teams in the world cup. Eight teams namely India, South Africa, England, Bangladesh, Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand and Afghanistan have already qualified. The remaining two teams will be selected through qualifying matches. The competition is in two groups.
West Indies, Zimbabwe, Netherlands, Nepal, US The teams are in A-group. Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman, UAE The teams will play in B-Group.
The World Cup will be held in October-November. No final date has been announced.
