Interior with Jeep elements

Although the teaser video only shows a glimpse of the cabin of the new Ram pickup, it is already possible to confirm its origins rooted in the Stellantis Group.

The steering wheel, for example, appears to be the same used on the Jeep Commander, only changing the shape of the airbag area with the Ram emblem. The pickup will also be manufactured in Goiana (PE), where the Jeep Renegade and Compass are still produced.

The instrument panel shown in the video appears to be the same 10-inch instrument panel as the more expensive versions of the Compass and Commander, but with new graphics to match the Ram’s visual language.

Grid and version options

On the outside, the video briefly shows some of the grille options the new Ram will offer. It can already be deduced that it will have a high grille and slightly inclined towards the front to show a robust model.

The shape of the part shown is similar to that of the 1500 Rebel, while the cross hood is in keeping with the Ram’s look, with muscular lines.

According to rumors and some spy photos from the past, we can expect four trim options for the new pickup.

Buyers will be able to choose from Big Horn, Laramie, R/T and Rebel trim levels. The standard nomenclature is the same internationally adopted by Ram and distinguishes each model according to the market proposal (luxury, sports or work).

The Big Horn, for example, positioned at the bottom of the catalog with the most affordable prices. The Laramie, in turn, will have intermediate performance and will be similar to the 2500 and 3500 versions of the same name.

The R/T, which harks back to the old days of the Dodge Dakota, will take a sporty approach and promise to deliver superior performance figures. Finally, the Rebel with an off-road focus and inspired by the identical version of the 1500.
