Tricolor faces Goiás on Saturday (27), at 21h, in Morumbi
The São Paulo squad landed in Guarulhos during the early hours of the morning and trained at the CT da Barra Funda at the end of the morning of this Thursday (25th), with an eye on the game against Goiás, at 9 pm on Saturday (27th), at the Morumbi stadium , by the Brazilian.
After the warm-up led by the physical trainers, the group was divided into two specific jobs: on one of the pitches, Dorival Júnior and assistant Lucas Silvestre guided an exercise in offensive movement and submissions, while assistant Pedro Sotero, in another field, led a defensive line tactical activity.
Afterwards, the athletes were gathered for a tactical work using little more than half of the lawn. At this time, the starters for the match against Puerto Cabello went to the inside of the CT for regenerative activities and some base athletes completed training.
Forward David, in transition after trauma to his right knee, did all the activity with the group for the first time. Midfielder Méndez, missing the last two games due to pain in his right foot, also did all the training alongside his teammates.
Nestor, with a run on the field, and Arboleda, on the inside, continued the treatment with physiotherapy. The number 11 is recovering from muscle fatigue in the right rectus femoris, while the defender has muscle fatigue in the posterior region of the left thigh.
Midfielder Talles Costa (suturing the meniscus of his left knee) and left-back Welington (surgery on his left ankle) evolved in their work with physiotherapy. Today, the duo did a more intense activity on the lawn, at linear speed.

The São Paulo squad returns to the Barra Funda CT on Friday morning (26) to finalize the preparation for the game.
