The Third Section of the Provincial Court of Alicante has imposed sentences of six years and one day in prison and fines of 200,000 euros to two men as perpetrators of a crime against public health for drug trafficking, mainly ecstasy and amphetamines. The Chamber, on the other hand, has acquitted two other defendants in this case, understanding that their participation in this illegal activity has not been proven. According to the section on proven facts of the sentence, the two convicted men were arrested in July 2021 in the framework of ‘Operation Pazzo 2’, by officials of the National Police Corps.
