A University present in three cities, with three Departments, three single-cycle master’s degree courses, nine three-year degree courses, 10 master’s degree courses, 4 of which in English, which offers the possibility of specializing with over 70 Masters and hosts students of 70 different nationalities. The numbers of the LUMSA University, located in the center of Rome, world capital of culture and art, are really important. The added value of the Roman campus is then that of allowing students to have a unique university experience, just a few steps from the artistic beauties and monuments that attract tourists from all over the world every day, such as Piazza San Pietro, Castel Sant’Angelo, the walls Leonine and Borgo district. An above average University
The Roman University, according to the data in the new AlmaLaurea report, has for some time been obtaining excellent and constantly improving results, once again exceeding the national averages in the main survey areas.
This is in fact the overall picture that emerges from the latest annual survey of the AlmaLaurea Interuniversity Consortium, a survey that involved thousands of male and female students throughout Italy and which, once again, rewards the LUMSA University training model, both in terms of quality of teaching and of the services offered to the student community.
According to data from the XXIV survey, which involved around 300,000 graduates in 77 Italian universities, the University exceeds all national averages in terms of satisfaction with the degree course, regularity in studies, good relations between students and teachers, provision of study spaces and classrooms.
This is further confirmation, underlined by the progressive appreciation and increase in registrations in all universities in Rome, Palermo and Taranto. For several years, in fact, the LUMSA University has recorded a growing number of enrollments at all levels: from the increase in new graduates interested in bachelor’s and single-cycle master’s degree programmes to students already enrolled in university who choose LUMSA to continue their studies with one master’s degree.
Finally, interest in masters and postgraduate courses is also growing LUMSA Master Schoolincreasingly a point of reference for professionals and recent graduates interested in increasing their skills, specializing or enhancing their curriculum.
95.9% of graduates declare themselves satisfied
The numbers, after all, speak for themselves. 95.9% of graduates declare themselves satisfied with their study experience at LUMSA University, a percentage that remains on the very high level of recent years, higher than the national average, equal to 90.5%, by as much as 5.4 points percentages.
This is an important fact that arises from three fundamental indicators: the relationship with teachers, positive in 97.1% of cases (the national average stops at 88.8%); the study load, considered adequate by 92.8% of graduates (compared to the national figure of 84.4%); the quality of the classrooms, positive for 97.7% of the interviewees, with a difference of 16.8% compared to the Italian average (80.9%).
The data relating to regularity in studies is also very high, which at the LUMSA University stands at 76.8% compared to a national average of 60.9% (+15.9%).
In addition to the satisfaction index, the AlmaLaurea report also shows that almost 9 out of 10 graduates (85.9% of respondents) would repeat their choice of university and course of study. Also in this case we are faced with a value that largely exceeds the national average, which stands at 72.9%.
Exam score, degree mark and personal commitment
Finally, with regard to the average exam score, the degree grade and the commitment of male and female students in activities complementary to study, LUMSA University does not deviate from the national averages and in this case, unlike the previous data , is a plus since it is a phenomenon that highlights the severity and rigor of the training model regardless of the non-state nature of the University.
The average of the exam marks of the LUMSA University graduates stands at a score of 27 (the national average of 26.4) with an average of the degree mark of 104.6 (103.5 the average value in the Italian universities; 104.5 in the regional ones).
The report concludes with the great commitment recognized to LUMSA University graduates: almost 5 out of 10 students are involved, during their university studies, in recognized internship activities, while over 6 out of 10 carry out at least one period of work ( the two values are obviously not to be considered mutually exclusive).
