In November 2020, the remains of the famous Belarusian writer Zmytrak Byadula were reburied at the Eastern Cemetery of Minsk. The remains were transported from Kazakhstan, where the writer died in evacuation on November 3, 1941, near the city of Uralsk.

In 2021, the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature opened a charity account for the purpose of creating a monument to Zmytrak Byadul at the place of his burial.
