Platform workers: what the executive defends for the reform of the Uber model

The Minister of Transport, Clément Beaune, was heard in the morning by the National Assembly’s commission of inquiry devoted to “Uber Files”. At his side, the Minister of Labor, Olivier Dussopt, and the Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne, who previously held these two portfolios.

Chaired by Benjamin Haddad (Renaissance), the commission, which is due to submit its report in July after 60 hearings, has been tasked with identifying the lobbying actions carried out by Uber to set up in France, and to assess the economic, social and environmental consequences of the so-called uberization phenomenon.
