Since March, a Hungarian player has not claimed his lottery prize of more than 100 million forints, reports a Glance. The most recent 5+1 hit on the Eurojackpot was made on March 10, and the lucky winner must register by June 9 to claim their prize. The player can register on the so-called big winner line, the phone number can be found on the www.szerencsejatek.hu page and at the sales points.

If the winner does not register by the specified deadline, the prize will be added to the unclaimed prizes, which Szerencsejáték Zrt. will typically spend on prizes announced in the form of special draws, or the prize pool of each game will be supplemented.

In the history of the Hungarian lottery, there have been several cases when the winner did not claim his prize. In 2017, for example, almost one and a half billion was returned to the players in the Five Lottery, the highest unclaimed prize was HUF 214 million in the Six Lottery, and HUF 245 million was waiting for its owner in vain in the Joker game. So far, a total of seven times it has happened that the winners of jackpots exceeding HUF 100 million did not come forward. During the 11-year domestic history of the Eurojackpot, it has never once happened that the Hungarian winners did not apply for a 5+2 or even a 5+1 hit prize, reports Blikk.
