Police are searching for the husband who beat his wife to death in Chennai, tied her up in a sack and left her at home.
The Ramesh-Vani couple from Otteri Ekangipuram have 2 sons. Ramesh, who used to quarrel with his wife over alcohol, suddenly went abroad on Monday. The two sons have gone in search of the missing mother Vani. The house smelled bad on Wednesday morning and they saw blood oozing from a sack under the table.
Ottery police, who went there on information provided by neighbors, found Vani’s body with bruises inside when the bundle was unpacked. Police have sent the body to the Government Hospital for autopsy and are searching for the missing Ramesh.
