Au Cannes Film Festival, it’s not just the Palme d’Or. The films in competition can receive many other awards: in addition to those awarded by the official jury (Grand Prize, Director’s Prize, Screenplay Prize, etc.), there is the International Critics’ Prize, the Roberto-Rossellini Prize , the Queer Palm… And the Ecumenical Jury Prize. Created in 1974, the latter is awarded by six jurors, three from the Catholic Church and three from the Protestant Church. Among them, a priest, two pastors, a journalist, a film critic and a graduate in economics.
