Mikhail Prokhorov’s Onexim Group plans to sell Renaissance Credit Bank, Kommersant newspaper reports, citing sources in the financial market.

According to the newspaper, the bank is in negotiations on the purchase with Sovcombank, within the perimeter of the transaction, the sale of the bank was discussed together with the insurance company (SK) Soglasie, the newspaper notes. However, the final parameters of the deal have not yet been agreed upon.

The price of the bank together with the insurance company will be higher than 0.8-0.9 of the total capital of the bank and the insurance company, the publication specifies. The bank’s capital is 36.7 billion rubles. based on the results of nine months, according to RAS statements.

In January of this year, Onexim consolidated 100% of the shares of Renaissance Credit Bank. Prior to that – as of January 31, 2019, according to the regulator, Prokhorov’s company owned 86% of the bank, another 7.5% belonged to the co-owner of the combined network Krasnoye and Beloe, Dixy, Bristol and GK Mercury Igor Kesaev, and the remaining 6.5% belongs to the co-owner of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Evgeny Yurchenko.
