PSG’s Spanish goalkeeper, Sergio Rico, suffered a serious head injury on Sunday after an accident on horseback.

The Spanish press revealed this Sunday noon the state considered very worrying of Sergio Rico, substitute goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain. Eternal substitute in Paris

Rico, 29, hasn’t played any games with PSG this season. He had been loaned by Sevilla FC during the 2019-20 season before committing definitively to Paris, where he was always content with a role of understudy. In the summer of 2021, the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma made him PSG’s third goalkeeper, behind Keylor Navas.

The Spaniard, ex-international (1 selection in 2016), was loaned to Mallorca where he held for the first six months of 2022. He has again become PSG’s N.2 goalkeeper since the departure of Navas last January. Rico has played a total of 24 matches for PSG.
