In Türkiye, voting has so far gone smoothly. More than sixty million Turkish voters are voting today to elect the next president, in the second round of one of the most disputed elections ever. The choice is between Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in power for 21 years, who is seeking a third presidential term, or Kemal Kiliçdaroglu, the candidate of a front of 6 opposition parties.
