CaixaBank creates a network of 73 offices throughout Spain with 900 professionals specialized in SMEs.
In these offices, the entity offers products and provides services adapted to the specific needs of small companies, with a service model specialized in advising this type of client.
These offices are designed for companies with a turnover of less than two million euros and are intended to boost their commercial activity and help them “manage their day-to-day activities beyond the financial sphere.”
The objective of CaixaBank is to increase the customer base of this segment and, in addition, to increase the linkage of small companies. The entity currently has a customer volume of 467,000 small companies with a turnover of less than two million euros and a penetration rate of 38%.
To this end, the company has made 12,000 million euros of pre-approved loans available to SMEs.
In addition to these 73 centers, the bank also has a total of 146 centers specialized in serving larger companies with a turnover of more than two million euros. Around 1,300 professionals work in these business centers.
Thus, CaixaBank Empresas currently has a total network of 219 specialized centers and offices throughout Spain, where 2,200 business specialists work.
