The Coldplay band will stop recording songs together in 2025, the band’s lead singer revealed today, Martin card. “Our latest recording will be released in 2025 and then we will probably go on a tour. In the future we may return to collaborate, but not as a Coldplay band,” he said during an interview with BBC Radio 2.
There were doubts among fans about the credibility of Martin’s remarks, but a few weeks ago he said the same thing in the British music magazine NME. Martin said they are “working on new material coming out soon that will be limited to just three more albums”.

Over the years, the band has won dozens of awards and sold over 90 million records worldwide, a figure that has positioned it as one of the most successful bands in the world.
