The dealership Interagua declared a red alert and informed that they are registering high levels of turbidity in the Daule River. This makes it difficult to capture raw water for processing.

The same announcement was made by Amagua on his social networks. This company provides drinking water and sewerage services in the sectors of La Puntilla (Samborondón) and La Aurora (Daule).
