Ronneby municipality’s head of security, Roland Edvinsson, has issued a warning about a serious threat to the city hall. According to Edvinsson, a man allegedly threatened to drive a car into the building’s entrance earlier this week. The threat appears to have been taken seriously, as concrete blocks have been positioned around the building. The individual responsible for the threat has reportedly been convicted of damaging the building in the past. While it is alleged that around 30 windows were broken after the man threw stones at the building, Edvinsson did not confirm these reports.

There is a threat to the city hall that we currently believe needs to be taken seriously, says Ronneby municipality’s head of security Roland Edvinsson to the newspaper.

The threat must have performed at the beginning of the week. A man allegedly threatened to drive a car into the entrance, he states. Concrete sows are deployed at the building.

According to information given to the newspaper, the same man has previously been convicted of serious damage to the building. About 30 windows were broken after stone throwing, but the head of security does not want to comment on that information.
