Nejapa, San Salvador. Two members of the MS were captured in flagrante delicto, accused of being responsible for the murder of a motorcyclist that occurred late Sunday afternoon in Nejapa, north of San Salvador.
This Monday, the Minister of Security, Gustavo Villatoro, confirmed the arrests of Óscar Daniel Torres Torres, alias “Calavera”, and José Enrique Navas Velázquez, alias “Máquina”.
“Anyone who attempts the life of a Salvadoran will receive all the fire of a forceful State. These cowardly criminals are responsible for the homicide reported yesterday in Nejapa,” said the official.
Both were located with intelligence from the PNC and the Armed Forces and were arrested less than 24 hours after the murder, added Villatoro.
The crime occurred at approximately 5:30 pm on Sunday, May 28, in the San Felipe y Marías 1 community, of said capital municipality.

“Know that we are going to eliminate every last remnant of these terrorist structures,” warned Villatoro; President Nayib Bukele announced on Sunday, May 28, the launch of an offensive against the remaining gang members to prevent their regrouping, a phenomenon that was discovered in Nueva Concepción, Chalatenango.
