The rating agency S&P Global – formerly Standard & Poor’s – will deliver, this Friday, June 2 at the end of the day, its new assessment of the French public debt.
After the loss of its triple A during the sovereign debt crisis, these deadlines had gradually become non-events for France. Fed to interest rates at the floor and injections of liquidity from the European Central Bank (ECB), France could go into debt without unduly worrying the rating agencies and the markets.
