School “A” wins the OSEP football final in the CEB of Kombissiri 1
Kombissiri, May 31, 2023 (AIB)-School “A” of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Kombissiri 1 won on Wednesday, May 31, the football final of the Sports Organization at the primary school (OSEP) by beating on penalties (3-1), the Sommitba school, thanks to the closure of sports and cultural activities in the district.
The basic education constituency of Kombissiri 1 ended its sports and cultural activities for the 2022-2023 season with the football final, played this Wednesday, May 31, 2023 on the grounds of the Kombissiri provincial stadium. After several months of eliminatory competitions which pitted 16 teams against each other at the start, it was the primary school teams from school “A” and Sommitba who found themselves in the final.
After a nil score of 0 goals everywhere at the end of regulation time, it was finally the “A” school which overcame their opponent on penalties by the score of 3 goals to 1 to the delight of his many supporters.
The head of the basic education district of Kombissiri 1 Laurentine Zongo/ Kiemtoré, visibly satisfied with the progress of the competition, did not fail to pay tribute to all the teachers of the CEB and more particularly to the office which led the activities of the sports and cultural organization this season.
She did not fail to express her gratitude to the many personalities present at the final who worked for the success of the event, including the former glory of the Stallions, Alain Nana.
For this season, the sporting and cultural disciplines retained in the CEB are football, running, jumping, theatre, drawing, recital, and modern and traditional dance. The prizes for all these disciplines were awarded to the winners during the break of the final.
