The Estádio D. Afonso Henriques will be the stage for a charitable game in honor of Neno on the 10th of June, precisely two years after the death of the former goalkeeper who divided his career between Vitória SC and Benfica.
In an initiative known as «The Legacy of Neno», co-organized by the City Council of Guimarães and the association A Palavra, responsible for initiatives to support children, the game will bring together several former teammates and opponents of Neno, as well as footballers still active.
Dimas, Oceano, Pedro Mendes, Nuno Assis, Jorge Andrade, Carlos Martins, Ricardo Quaresma, Yannick Djaló or Edinho are some of the names already confirmed.
Tickets cost five euros and proceeds go to various social associations.
