This Friday the second edition of the cycle of short informative conferences began at the Antiguo Casino de Ciudad Real “real science”, an initiative of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) that shows society the scientific and technological activity of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences and Technologies of the Ciudad Real campus.

The Ciencia Real cycle was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor for Students, Ángeles Carrasco; the councilor, Nacho Sánchez; the dean of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences and Technologies, Manuel Andrés Rodrigo and the director of the Institute of Applied Mathematics to Science and Engineering, Henar Herrero Sanz, coordinator of the cycle, who stressed that among the objectives is also to awaken scientific vocations -techniques between pre-university students and building a bridge between the University and the city.

The dean of Chemicals thanked the city council for being able to celebrate this cycle in municipal facilities, highlighting that the capital is a university city with an important tradition of the University.
