Chamber III of the Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by Banco Santander against the judgment of the National Court that confirmed a fine of 500,000 euros from the National Securities Market Commission to Banco Popular for committing a serious violation of the Law 24/1988, of July 28, of the Stock Market, due to the malfunctioning of the customer service during the period between January 1, 2012 and February 28, 2014.
