The founder of the mythological network, Yaakov Halperin, is retiring from managing Halperin Optics

by time news

After more than three decades, Jacob Halperin retires from Halperin Optics. “After 33 years of making and managing Optica Halperin since its inception, 33 years of making and building the largest, best and leading chain in Israel, 33 years of leading the industry in all areas: professionalism, fair prices, making optics accessible to everyone fairly, and most importantly! “The moment has come for us to say goodbye,” he wrote.

According to him, his six brothers will remain members of the company’s management. “To the question that must be intriguing, where are I headed? Truth be told, first of all rest,” he wrote. “The truth is I am without any special plans.”

Optica Halperin was founded in 1988 by Rabbi Rafael Halperin, and since his death in 2011 it has been run by his eldest son Yaakov Halperin, and his six brothers co-own the chain. In May 2017 it was announced that Yaakov Halperin is looking for buyers for the company – and Halperin denied it.
