ENERGY: CISL AND FLAEI CISL “150 THOUSAND WORKERS AT RISK”

” We do not understand why an activity that works well, such as that of the electricity sector, as we have known it until now, should be deconstructed. The government listens to all the interested parties and asks itself why we all want the same solution, understands the seriousness of the consequences that the application of Article 177 of the Procurement Code could lead to, with the outsourcing of 80% of contracts, putting in place thus also discussing article 41 of our constitution ”. Thus in a joint note the Confederal secretary of the CISL, Andrea Cuccello and the general secretary of the Flaei CISL, Amedeo Testa.

” We do not understand the transposition of a European directive which – they say – for how it should be applied, is not matched by any other European country. Our request is simple: Article 177 must be stopped. ” Otherwise, CUCCELLO and Testa underline “150,000 workers would be at risk of employment and hundreds of companies could have dire repercussions”. This problem, they conclude, “does not only concern employees in the electricity sector, but also companies. Everyone must do their part. We are ready to mobilize”.
