Watan Al-Youm: Al-Ittihad Jeddah Club obtained the signature of Frenchman Karim Benzema, the former Real Madrid star, to move to the ranks of the Saudi club, starting from the new season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian journalist known for the “Sky Sports” network, Benzema signed with Al-Ittihad Jeddah, and he will join its ranks with a contract that extends until the summer of 2025.
Fabrizio wrote through his official accounts on social media: “Karim Benzema signed the main part of his transfer contracts to Ittihad Jeddah, and his contract will extend until June 2025, and includes the option to extend for an additional season.”
He added, “Benzema’s salary will be close to 200 million euros annually, and it will include commercial contracts and variables.”
And Romano concluded, saying: “Benzema will bid farewell to the Real Madrid fans, on Tuesday, in a press conference, and then he will go to Saudi Arabia.”
Yesterday, Sunday, Real Madrid announced the official end of Benzema’s journey with Meringue, after a 14-year journey, during which he won 25 titles.
