During the afternoon of this Tuesday, June 6, the 2023 Science, Technology and Innovation Agenda (CTI Agenda) was officially presented, a proposal carried out by the Municipality of Rafaela in conjunction with academic, scientific and technological entities from the city.

The event took place at the Technical Education School No. 460 “Guillermo Lehmann” where the Regional Delegate III, Gerardo Cardoni; the Secretary of Education, Mariana Andereggen; representatives of the National Technological University (UTN), representatives of the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI) and other institutions that are part of the CTI Agenda; teachers and students of the institution.

During the launch of the CTI 2023 Agenda, former students of the EESO Nº428 school: Alan Lanjetz, Angelina Zanata, Andrea Alderete and Agustina Quiroga accompanied by their teachers, presented the project in which they participated last year in the design and construction of a space microsatellite.

On the other hand, with the premise of promoting scientific vocations among the young people of the city, this year we resumed the modalities “Delivery of science”, “Guided tours” and “Talks for all audiences” to share the more than 70 proposals that they are framed in the 6 thematic axes selected for this new edition: Axis No. 1: Generating without gender: how to do science without excluding in the attempt; Axis No. 2: Techno-scientists: think about the future; Axis No. 3: Science to care for the planet; Axis No. 4: Say thirty-three: healthy science; Axis Nº 5: Experiment in the laboratory and Axis Nº 6: Science à la Carte. A cycle for discussion, the exchange of ideas and the dissemination of scientific culture.

During the meeting, Mariana Andereggen assured: “We have an objective and that is that it reaches students of all levels, from primary school, secondary school like you, and also those who are training as teachers, even if they are pursuing tertiary degrees or university, what is being done today in Science and Technology here in the city. There are many places in Rafaela: laboratories, workshops, institutions that are, in turn, delegations of institutions at the National or Provincial level or articulate with different institutions, public and private, where science and technology is done every day”.

He continued: “There are a lot of guys and girls who go through their entire primary and secondary school, and they think that some of that science and technology stuff is science fiction. Things that are seen in the series or in the movies, we want them to arrive, for the scientists and technicians to arrive at the schools, to tell them what is being done and so they can imagine being scientists, or perhaps developing the new technological innovation that can change our lives in a few years.”
