Former Tamil Nadu Dairy Minister KD Rajendra Balaji, N Baburai, VS Balaraman and SK Muthupandian have been accused of receiving Rs. Virudhunagar District Crime Branch Police filed a case.
Rajendra Balaji and four others had filed a petition in the court seeking pre-bail in the case. The Chennai High Court dismissed the petition on May 17. Former ministers Rajendra Balaji, N. Baburai, VS Balaraman and SK Muthupandian have filed a bail appeal in the Supreme Court against this.
In this context, advocate P. Somasundaram has filed a ‘caveat’ petition in the Supreme Court on behalf of the complainant Vijay Nallathambi, stating that no order should be issued without consulting his side in the case.
