We have developed a method that allows you to go through the learned space in which the AI images live, so to speak. So I can now say: I would like the lion to open his mouth in this photo – and within seconds the lion bares his teeth.

But how does the AI know what the inside of a lion’s mouth looks like?
The neural network behind our research was previously trained on huge amounts of data and learned what countless things look like, including a lion with its mouth open. That’s why it can correctly generate the inside of the mouth. And with our user interface, every layperson can now call up such intelligent editing functions in a controlled manner. This can also be interesting outside of creative industries.
