UEFA has opened an investigation process against Osasuna that could result in the exclusion of the team from European competitions. The Navarrese entity would jeopardize their participation in the Conference League, which they agreed to after finishing seventh this season in LaLiga.
The decision would leave Osasuna out of European competitions due to the Supreme Court ruling that Osasuna was involved in the mornings of two parties in the 2013-2014 season.

Specifically, the board of directors of those years is accused of crimes of misappropriation, documentary falsification, sports corruption and accounting crimesome charges that could spoil the sporting merits achieved by Osasuna this season.

The Navarrese team is unaware that an investigation process has been opened that puts their participation in European competitions at risk next season. The Diario de Navarra assures that the club has not received no notification to report the opening of a file by UEFA.
In the event that Osasuna is sanctioned without European competitions, Athletic would go on to occupy the place of the Navarrese team for the next edition of the Conference League.
