Washington: H-1B visa applicants will not have a direct interview in 2022. The U.S. Secretary of State’s Office said Thursday that the rules were relaxed in the context of Kovid. H-1B visas allow foreigners to work in the United States in specialized fields. The new exemption applies to both workers and students.
Exemptions are also applicable for H-3 Visa (Trainee or Special Education), L Visa (Transfer between Companies), O Visa (with exceptional skills or achievements), P Visa (for work in the fields of sports, arts and entertainment) and Q visa (for participants in the International Cultural Exchange Scheme). .
