The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, is at the Presidential Palace, in Luanda, to discuss with his Angolan counterpart, João Lourenço, issues of political and socio-economic interest to the respective countries.
Upon his arrival, this Wednesday morning, the Egyptian President received greetings from the Angolan statesman, outside the palace, followed protocol procedures, before the private meeting between both.
The program of view that ANGOP had access to includes the signing of cooperation agreements between both governments, which will be followed by statements to the press by the two Heads of State.
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who has been in Luanda since Monday night, leaves Angola at mid-afternoon today, as part of a tour that includes Mozambique and Zambia.
Political-diplomatic relations between both countries were formalized on March 26, 1987, through the signing, in Luanda, of the General Agreement on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation. AFL/AL/ADR
