The Catalan has been sharing several photographs and videos on his social networks practicing all kinds of disciplines, from batches at Motorland Aragón on his CBR 600 RR to dirt-track and motocross sessions to rediscover the gas and recover a training rhythm that Marc missed a lot.
In Mugello, at the DAZN microphone, the one from Honda recognized that this break “it has been good”especially since at Le Mans he arrived “Justice” physical after missing the last few races due to his thumb injury: “In Le Mans I arrived just right, and the weekend went well, but they have been good for me to rest for a few days and train a lot on the motorcycle, and get back into the rhythm of the motorcycle, whether you want to or not, no matter how much experience you have, when you are stopped for so long you cannot get the rhythm. Márquez assures that his last fracture is a thing of the past and that physically he already feels “at the same point as Portimao”, so you are ready to run on one of the most physical tracks on the entire calendar: “Maybe my version of the bike doesn’t change much, but I feel good and strong, and here in Mugello we’re going to need it for changes of direction.”
Despite the break between France and Italy, Marc does not expect any great news on his RC213V: “We have the same bike as at Le Mans. Three weeks have passed, but there hasn’t been time to make some changes we’ve asked for. We will try to continue working and giving 100%. It is true that this circuit is not so favorable to the Honda nor to my style, but I have always been able to save it. We will see how we are doing this year, on Friday the rivals already put you in the place and you see where you are. It will be difficult to have a weekend like Le Mans.”
