It has been revealed that Thirukkural has been completely removed from the currently released syllabus, as the Thirukkural syllabi were featured in the 2019 Group 2 Main Exam. The news, which came as a shock to Tamil activists, was aired on Thandi TV. Meanwhile, at 10 pm, DNPSC, which has issued a new announcement, has said that it has included Thirukurala in the Group 2 primary examination. The new syllabus has been re-posted on the website.
