After several months of preparation, the first convoy of Hajj 2023 left Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport for Mecca, this Friday, June 02, 2023. These faithful pilgrims moved under the watchful eye of the Prime Minister, Dr. Bernard Goumou and of the Secretary General of Religious Affairs, Elhadj Karamo Diawara. All this in a friendly atmosphere.

From this first operation, a corte of 343 Guinean pilgrims were able to leave the capital on behalf of the 10,000 expected in Mecca to accomplish this fifth pillar of Islam.

Contrary to previous years, according to the Guinean authorities, several reforms must have been carried out this year.
