One frequently mentioned tool is the Artificial Intelligence and it has even been mentioned that there are some professions that it could replace, but are doctors on the list?

With this in mind, the change in lifestyle was quite drastic. From one day to the next, millions of people had to remain confined inside their homes. Both classes and various professional activities were suspended because everything was done remotely.

India tops the list with a high percentage (76%) of respondents expressing concern. In Spain, 67% of those surveyed are concerned about the replacement of jobs by Artificial Intelligence.
Although Australia is known for its natural resource-based economy, increasing digitization and automation may have also raised concerns among respondents, with 63% concerned.
China, a nation often associated with significant advances in technology and Artificial Intelligence, has a relatively lower percentage, with 55% of respondents uneasy about such advances. While the United States and the United Kingdom, with 54% and 48%, respectively, reflect similar concerns regarding this technology.
Denmark, where recently a political party led by an Artificial Intelligence emerged, presented a lower percentage (34%) of concern. This may indicate, among other reasons, that Danish citizens might have a higher degree of confidence in their ability to adapt and find new job opportunities as they enter the workforce.
Finally, despite the advances made, it is unlikely that Artificial Intelligence will succeed in replacing doctors. In this case, the advances achieved allow the reduction of time in the interpretation of analyzes and reinforce the capacities of doctors, although in no way will they be able to take their place… at least in the short term.
