US actor and comedian Mike Batayeh has died at the age of 52. That reports TMZ.
As the magazine learned, Batayeh is said to have died on June 1 of complications from a heart attack – while he was sleeping at his home in Michigan. According to the actor’s sister, the death came as a surprise. Her brother had never been diagnosed with heart problems before.
In a statement, the family wrote of the US star’s death: “He will be missed terribly by all who loved him and his ability to bring laughter and joy to others.”
Batayeh leaves behind five siblings and a large family. A memorial service is planned for June 16, and the funeral will take place a day later.
Mike Batayeh became internationally known for his role as laundromat manager Dennis Markowski in the hit series “Breaking Bad”. He also had minor appearances in series such as “CSI: Miami” and in films such as “Don’t Mess with the Zohan”.
