The Court dismisses the open case against a Teruel councilor for the crime of sexual assault

The Provincial Court of Teruel, in an order made public this morning, has upheld the appeal presented by the former councilor of the Teruel City Council, Carlos AA, and has agreed to revoke the order issued by the Investigating Court No. 3 of Teruel and the dismissal provisional case. The ex-councilman was being investigated by Teruel Investigation Court No. 3 as the possible perpetrator of a crime of sexual assault on a 21-year-old young man, for events that occurred in Teruel on February 19, 2023. The provincial court notes in its order the notable differences that can be seen between the statement that the young man makes at the police headquarters, immediately after the events occurred, and those made at the judicial headquarters.
