After 9 months of lessons, the 7th grade entrance exams were launched this Monday, June 5th across the country. In Conakry, the tone is set by Prime Minister Dr. Bernard Goumou, in the commune of Kaloum. Like this city center of business in the country, the transition authorities have been strongly mobilized in the other municipalities of the capital, to give this examination all its brilliance, in memory of the 7 candidates who died by drowning in the prefecture of Kouroussa.
Dr. Bernard Goumou was in the company of members of the Government he leads. It was under the slogan “zero tolerance” that these final evaluations were launched. This is why the number 1 of the Palace of the Dove took the opportunity to provide advice to these young candidates.
“Our presence here with the Minister of Planning and all the executives of the Administration is to encourage you. I came to tell you that it is not difficult. When you were in class, you did homework with your teachers, you did compositions with your teachers. So it’s exactly the same. The subjects you are going to have, you have already seen in class. Don’t panic! Take your time to answer the questions calmly. Especially this year, we say zero tolerance. Please don’t cheat because the future of this country is you. You had a year to be able to learn. Stay away from anything that is forbidden,” advised Prime Minister Dr Bernard Goumou.
It should be noted that there are a total of 344,338 candidates including 156,740 girls to be evaluated at the national level, including 2,129 candidates including 1,101 girls on behalf of the municipality of Kaloum.
