From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., citizens qualified to vote must elect a governor, lieutenant governor, 49 provincial legislators, 19 mayors, 184 councilors and 93 community commissioners in 484 schools in elections in which Peronism puts 24 years of hegemony at stake.

The Electoral Board is prepared to receive and guard the 3,893 ballot boxes that will arrive from all the cities and communes of Tucumán. It is estimated that the first results would be around 9:00 p.m., although at midnight there could be certain numbers.

1- From 8 to 18, in 484 schools

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., citizens qualified to vote must elect a governor, vice president, 49 legislators, 19 mayors, 184 councilors, and 93 commissioners in 484 schools.

2- Keys to the election The province has three electoral sections: Capital (35% of voters, stronghold of JxC), East (24.4%) and West (40.6%). The FdT dominates in the interior and in the distribution of legislative seats.

3- The Civil Registry, open for DNI

The Civil Registry (headquarters, rapid documentation center and delegations) will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in order to deliver documents to those who have not collected them.

4- Schools without classes

Tomorrow there will be no school activity in any shift of the 484 educational establishments where they vote today. Schools and colleges will return to normal on Tuesday the 13th.

5- Free ticket to vote

The free ticket on urban and interurban buses will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The driver may request the DNI and see that it matches the school where he will vote.
