The company OSSE warned that tomorrow, Sunday, residents of an area of the Capital will see the normal operation of the drinking water service affected due to the development of works. In addition, vehicular traffic must be interrupted.
The OSSE Services department will carry out repair work on the drinking water main pipe at two points in the City: one, on Rawson avenue between Bolivia and Colombia streets, and the second, on the corner of Santa Fe and Aberastain.
From the company they indicated that “the maneuvers will be carried out this Sunday, June 11, the day when the flow of vehicular traffic decreases in the area, with the aim of generating as little inconvenience as possible”.
It is worth mentioning that, while the work lasts, circulation in the area will be completely interrupted. For that Signage and signs indicating detours through alternative streets will be placed.
The supply will be affected during the day in areas surrounding the work points, for which Sanitary Works suggests taking care of the reserve of the home tank, prioritizing the consumption of drinking water for basic hygiene, drinking and eating activities; provide for the storage of drinking water for human consumption in suitable containers; and remember that home reserves make it possible to face events of these characteristics for more than 24 hours, as long as rational use of water is made.
